Simultaneous 12 lead ECG in anterior wall myocardial infarction. QS complexes are seen in leads V1 to V3. T wave inversion is seen in leads I, aVL and V4 to V6. Simultaneous 12 lead ECG is valuable in evaluating arrhythmias as each beat will be displayed in all leads. In this case there is slight disadvantage in assessing QRS voltages in chest leads due to overlap between the leads and requires either reducing the gain (feasible) or using a larger paper width (not feasible in a given machine).
