Fine atrial fibrillation with controlled ventricular rate. In coarse atrial fibrillation, the fibrillary waves are easily seen and have an amplitude of more than 0.1 mV. Coarse atrial fibrillation indicates atrial enlargement while fine atrial fibrillation occurs in those with normal sized atria. There is clockwise rotation as indicated by RS complexes upto V6.
