Deep Q waves are seen in leads III and aVF and small q waves in lead II. T waves are inverted in leads II, III and aVF. ST segment is isoelctric, indicating that the infarction is not very recent. Q waves can become smaller and sometimes disappear several months after infarction, especially in inferior wall infarction with a small area of myocardial necrosis.
